New Vessels At PBS

The investment at Newmains includes the instalment of four innovative new vessels. These have extremely accurate temperature control and advanced mixing capabilities to allow the company to manufacture top end creams. Alongside this is a 360kw chiller to support the vessels with ten times the cooling capacity of the current manufacturing chiller.

Newmains Engineering Manager, Alistair Thompson, worked closely with external technicians to offload and install the vessels. They tested the machines by making Crazy Color Violette then putting on the automatic cleaning before manufacturing a white cream. The test was a success - not one bit of red dye or discoloration was found in the cream. A special shout out to Alistair who has done fantastic work co-ordinating the full process.

The electrical and plumbing work is currently ongoing before the VMI team return on 27th June to do the final installation and testing.
