The Production Manager is responsible for leading and managing the production operations within the cosmetics manufacturing facility. This includes overseeing the production of cosmetics products, maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring the safety of production operations, and meeting the company’s production targets. The role involves strategic planning, staff management, and continuous improvement efforts.

Production Planning & Management:
· Monitor production lines to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
· Optimize resource usage (materials, labour, equipment) to minimize waste and reduce costs.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and legal regulations.
· Coordinate with other departments (e.g., R&D, Quality Control, Marketing) to ensure smooth production flow.
· Assume overall responsibility for the site outside office hours
2. Quality Control & Compliance:
· Oversee the quality control procedures, ensuring products meet all cosmetic industry standards and regulations.
· Perform routine inspections and audits of the production process to ensure consistency in product quality.
· Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Management:
· Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
· Provide training and guidance to staff on safe operating procedures and production best practices.
· Set performance goals for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations.
· Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
4. Cost Control & Budgeting:
· Manage production costs and work within budgetary constraints.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and production efficiency.
· Analyse production data and trends to forecast future needs and adjust production accordingly.
5. Maintenance & Equipment Management:
· Ensure all machinery and production equipment are properly maintained and functioning optimally.
· Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.
6. Continuous Improvement:
· Implement lean manufacturing practices and encourage innovation to improve production processes.
· Lead efforts to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize defects.
· Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements that can enhance production.

Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related field is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry.
Leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using production management software and other tools.
Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is preferred
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

As Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Operations Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast moving environment. You will be responsible for the day to day management of people within the warehouse function, ensuring company targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements whilst also ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Uphold housekeeping standards and foster continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Provide a safe working environment by adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures, ensuring team compliance.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of components meets internal production requirements.
Drive standard work and implement quality processes to deliver a right-first-time product to customers.
Lead and resolve customer concerns promptly.
Supervise order picking, goods-in, and goods-out operations to ensure accuracy with minimal handling and stock damage.
Organise, facilitate, and manage daily cycle counts.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement warehouse management systems and best practices.
Maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock matches the warehouse management system and recording all stock movements.
Communicate shortage issues to the Operations Manager and relevant planning/purchasing teams.
Manage customer order returns.
Ensure the security of the warehouse environment and control access for external visitors.
Maintain high housekeeping standards.
Set measurable KPIs, work standards, and expectations in line with company objectives. Monitor and communicate progress, take corrective action as needed.
Ensure structured and planned training and development for self and team to maximise skill levels, flexibility, and absence cover. Provide timely and constructive feedback on training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Communicate promptly and accurately with all relevant departments on any factors impacting delivery dates, customer commitments, and quality.
Keep the Manager and other relevant managers, supervisors, and departments promptly advised on all relevant matters, problems, or requirements.
Produce weekly/monthly reports for the Operations Manager on progress against specific objectives and Balanced Scorecard KPIs, and agree on any corrective action.
Ensure weekly staff briefings and other forms of regular and effective employee communication are held as deemed appropriate.
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all administrative and reporting procedures and routines, and forward paperwork to the relevant parties.
