Why we do it

Seeing what a huge difference our business could make in the local community, Professional Beauty Systems founded the Little Beauties Children’s Charity in 2017.

Our aim is to fundraise and donate to local charities supporting children, young people and families in need. The charities we donate to are chosen by our team through suggestion boxes placed across our two Glasgow-based offices, with many of the charities holding a special place in our employees’ hearts.

Charities we have worked with this year include Home Start Renfrew, Glasgow Care Foundation, Renfrewshire Food Bank, Ayrshire Hospice, Social Bite, Lullaby Trust, Young Minds, Brightest Star, YMCA, Glut 1 Scotland and many more.

In 2021/2022 Professional Beauty Systems donated a total of £27,370.93 to Children’s Charities through fundraising and events at our head office.

Our team raised £7,370.93 through a variety of fundraising events, from Munro Walks and Pancake Day to Tough Mudder and our annual company BBQ in Millport. The company contributed an additional £20,000 and the funds were distributed between some wonderful children’s charities.

Easter Egg Donations

We delivered 152 Easter Eggs to Craiglachie Children’s Home Clydebank and Countryview Children’s Home at the start of April.

Thank you to everyone at PBS for your donations and thanks to our own Easter bunnies, Eilidh Fraser and Karen Holt, from our Finance Team who kindly delivered the eggs.

PBS takes Ben Lomond Image

PBS takes Ben Lomond

We had a fantastic turnout for PBS’s first Munro of the year at the start of April as 26 of us climbed Ben Lomond 974m (3196ft).

Thank you to everyone who walked and sponsored us; we raised £1,500 for British Heart Foundation. More than 5,000 heart operations are performed on children in the UK each year, so a very worthwhile cause.
